Kenny is a definite upgrade from his predecessors, but that's not a very high bar. The nepotism Kendyl is the unspoken elephant in the room. She doesn't rebound, doesn't play defense, shoot nothing but spot up 3's, and because she's an inconsistent one-trick pony, she allows her defender to slough off and help out defending other players.
I saw Kenny attempt to go talk to the refs after the game, but they just ignored him and ran away. Too little, too late. In that respect, he's just like Beth and Dennis, too timid. The coach for Syracuse worked the refs the whole game. If you don't defend your players, and they realize you won't fight for them, you'll lose them. Remember, next year there will be two of his daughters playing (and probably starting).
Regan is called upon to shoot 3's, be doubled team by the other team's two tallest players, rebound with no help, and bring the ball up the court against the press. My god, give her a break. We lack "bangers," and in all the recent games, the opponents have used the same tactic against her.
At the end of regulation, score tied, Brooks has them in a zone. #4 for them (who killed us all game), was just dribbling out front, not being closely guarded. He then calls on Regan to effect a double team. Regan and the other players are carrying him, and he's getting heavy. This loss is on Brooks, and so was the Miami loss. I don't think he's ACC caliber, yet we praise him, because in comparison, he's an upgrade from Beth and Dennis. Very disappointing.
